Bananarama

Bananarama are an English pop group formed in London in 1979 who began releasing records in the early 1980s and are associated with new wave, synth-pop and dance-pop. Their music combined close vocal harmonies with electronic production and drum-machine rhythms, and over the decade they incorporated more club- and house-influenced elements, becoming closely linked to 1980s British pop culture and the rise of music television.
