Sinfonie Nr. 7
Album by Anton Bruckner & Berliner Philharmoniker & Wilhelm Furtwängler
Sinfonie Nr. 7 is the seventh symphony by Austrian composer Anton Bruckner, completed in 1883. The work is a large-scale late-Romantic orchestral composition characterised by expansive structural arcs, dense harmonic language and prominent brass writing reflecting Bruckner's mature style and his engagement with Wagnerian influences, and it occupies a central place in his symphonic output and in the late 19th-century orchestral repertoire.
