Symphony No. 2 is the second symphony by Austrian composer Anton Bruckner, composed in 1872. The work is a large-scale Romantic orchestral composition in C minor characterised by dense, organ-like textures, expansive thematic development and pronounced dynamic contrasts, and it occupies an early but significant place in Bruckner's symphonic output as he refined his approach to form and orchestration.
