Metamorphosis

Metamorphosis is a 1988 album of solo piano pieces by American composer Philip Glass. Rooted in Glass's signature minimalism, the pieces employ repetitive motifs and gradual harmonic change to create a sparse, meditative sound, and the release represents a continuation of his exploration of minimalist forms in a more intimate solo format within his late-20th-century output.
