Lamentate is a composition for solo piano and orchestra by Estonian composer Arvo Pärt, composed in 2002. The piece employs Pärt's tintinnabuli-inspired language with sparse, bell-like textures, sustained harmonies and slow temporal pacing, and it represents a major late-period orchestral work that continues his exploration of contemplative, sacred-inflected minimalism.
