Time for Tyner

Album by McCoy Tyner

Time for Tyner is a studio album by American jazz pianist McCoy Tyner, released in 1969. The album is modal and hard bop in style, with expanded horn textures, strong left-hand piano figures, layered ensemble passages and propulsive rhythms, and it follows his post-Coltrane period as he explored larger group arrangements in his solo career.
