Du nouveau monde (From the New World) is the ninth symphony by Czech composer Antonín Dvořák, completed in 1893. The work combines Bohemian melodic language with musical ideas Dvořák encountered during his time in the United States, employing expansive, lyrical themes and rich orchestration to fuse folk-inflected motifs with classical symphonic structure, and it represents a pivotal moment in his career and in the late Romantic symphonic repertoire.
