Sechs Suiten für Violoncello solo, BWV 1007–1012 is a set of six suites for unaccompanied cello by Johann Sebastian Bach, composed circa 1717–1723. They exemplify Baroque solo instrumental writing through dance-derived movements and contrapuntal textures, and they occupy a formative position in the cello repertoire and in the development of unaccompanied string literature.
