Motets

Motets is a collection of sacred choral works by German composer Johann Sebastian Bach, composed mainly between c. 1708 and 1748. They are written for small vocal ensembles with continuo or a cappella, use dense counterpoint, chromatic harmony and varied vocal textures, and are late examples in Bach's sacred vocal output that form a central part of his choral repertoire.
