Visions fugitives is a suite of short piano pieces (Op. 22) by Russian composer Sergei Prokofiev, composed between 1915 and 1917. The cycle consists of fleeting piano miniatures that juxtapose lyrical, playful and sometimes dissonant harmonies, reflecting Prokofiev's early modernist language and acting as a transitional work that foreshadows his later larger-scale compositions within early 20th-century music history.
