Symphony No. 2 is the second symphony by Austrian composer Anton Bruckner, completed in 1872. The work is a Romantic orchestral symphony characterised by broad, organ-like brass writing, sweeping string textures and large-scale developmental structures, and it occupies an early place in Bruckner's symphonic development as he refined the architectural approach that would define his later works.
