Scheherazade, Op. 35 is a symphonic suite by Russian composer Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov, composed in 1888. The work is scored for a large orchestra and showcases Rimsky-Korsakov's mastery of orchestration with vivid, colourful textures and sweeping string and wind writing, representing a key example of Russian late Romantic programme-like orchestral music that influenced later orchestral practice.
