Symphony No.5

Symphony No. 5 in B-flat major is the fifth symphony by Austrian composer Anton Bruckner, completed in 1876. The four-movement late-Romantic work features dense polyphony, expansive brass writing, complex counterpoint and broad symphonic architecture that juxtaposes chorale-like passages with turbulent climaxes, representing a mature example of Bruckner's structural rigor and harmonic language within his symphonic output.
