Plays Tenor

Plays Tenor is an album by American jazz saxophonist Bud Shank, released in 1957. He plays tenor saxophone rather than his usual alto, and the music has a warmer, more robust tone rooted in West Coast jazz with bop influences that reflect a brief shift in his instrumental approach in the late 1950s.
