Symphonie No. 1 "Winter-Träume" is the first symphony by Pyotr Ilyich Tschaikowsky, completed in 1866. The work uses Romantic orchestration, lyrical and folk-influenced melodies and wintry motifs, and represents an early symphonic statement that foreshadows the melodic and harmonic characteristics of the composer's later works.
