Extensions

Extensions is a studio album by American jazz pianist McCoy Tyner, released in 1970. It combines elements of post-bop and modal jazz with expanded horn arrangements and dense harmonic writing, and it continued Tyner's exploration of larger ensemble formats after his earlier small-group recordings.
