Ammonia Avenue

Album by The Alan Parsons Project

Ammonia Avenue is the seventh studio album by The Alan Parsons Project, released in 1984 on Arista Records, produced and engineered by Alan Parsons and recorded at Abbey Road Studios with the Project’s regular session musicians. A concept album, it explores themes of industrialisation, technology and the chemical industry—reportedly inspired by Eric Woolfson’s visit to an ICI plant—and blends progressive rock, art rock and synth-pop.
