Symphonies nos. 30, 31 “Paris”, 32 & 33
Album by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart & Staatskapelle Dresden & Sir Colin Davis
Symphonies nos. 30, 31 "Paris", 32 & 33 is a set of orchestral works by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart composed in the 1770s. They are in the Classical orchestral style with prominent wind writing, transparent string textures and lively tempos balanced by lyrical slow movements, and they show Mozart's shift to larger public concerts and to more varied orchestral colour than in his earlier Salzburg symphonies.
