Fool’s Mate
Album by Peter Hammill
Fool's Mate is the debut solo album by English singer-songwriter Peter Hammill, released in 1971. The album blends folk, art-rock and introspective singer-songwriter styles with spare acoustic arrangements, theatrical vocal delivery and occasional experimental touches, and it represented Hammill's first major step into a solo career alongside his work with Van der Graaf Generator.
