The Clarinet Concertos
Album by Carl Maria von Weber & Eric Hoeprich & Orchestra of the Eighteenth Century & Guy Van Waas
The Clarinet Concertos are a pair of concertos by German composer Carl Maria von Weber, composed between 1811 and 1813. They exemplify early Romantic orchestral writing with virtuosic clarinet passages, lyrical melodies and colourful orchestration, and they helped to establish the clarinet as a prominent solo instrument in early Romantic music and in Weber's output.
