Cello Sonatas Nos. 3 and 5 are compositions by Ludwig van Beethoven, composed in 1808 and 1815 respectively. The sonatas exemplify Beethoven's evolving style, combining lyrical cello–piano dialogue with classical forms and increasing harmonic and structural experimentation, and they are regarded as key works in the cello repertoire that mark his middle to late-period development.
