My Country

Má vlast (My Country) is a cycle of six symphonic poems by Czech composer Bedřich Smetana, completed in 1879. The orchestral, programme-driven work uses recurring motifs and vivid orchestration to evoke Bohemian landscapes and legends, and it occupies a central place in Smetana's output and in the development of Czech national music.
