Háry János Suite and the Dances are orchestral works by Hungarian composer Zoltán Kodály, composed in 1926-27 and 1933 respectively. They draw on Hungarian folk melodies and rhythms, employ colourful orchestration and modal harmonies, and occupy a central place in Kodály's output as explorations of national musical identity and orchestral colour.
