Risk to Exist is the sixth studio album by English band Maxïmo Park, released in 2017, recorded at Wilco’s The Loft in Chicago with producer/engineer Tom Schick, and featuring backing vocals from Mimi Parker of Low. It blends the group’s indie rock and new wave leanings with lyrics addressing austerity, inequality and the refugee crisis.
