Maxïmo Park

Maxïmo Park are an English alternative rock band formed in Newcastle upon Tyne in 2000, associated with the post-punk revival and indie rock scenes. Their music combines angular guitar lines, driving rhythms and prominent keyboards with literate vocals, evolving from energetic post-punk-influenced indie rock into broader melodic and textural experimentation and contributing to the character of the 2000s UK indie scene.
