Electric Byrd

Electric Byrd is a studio album by American trumpeter Donald Byrd, released in 1970. The album mixes improvisational jazz with amplified instruments and rhythms drawn from funk and soul, and it is part of his transition from acoustic hard bop to a more electric approach in the late 1960s and early 1970s.
