Amber is the second studio album by English electronic duo Autechre, released in 1994. The album explores ambient techno and experimental electronica, characterised by warm, textured synths, sparse and syncopated rhythmic patterns and an emphasis on atmospheric sound design, representing a shift from their debut toward more abstract rhythmic complexity within the emerging IDM scene.
