Survival is a studio album by Jamaican reggae band Bob Marley and the Wailers, released in 1979. The record is characterised by a roots reggae sound with driving bass and percussion, prominent horn and vocal arrangements, and lyrics focused on political solidarity and Pan-African themes, marking a phase in Marley's late-1970s work in which his music addressed political and social issues more directly.
