French Suite No. 6 and the Partitas for Harpsichord are keyboard works by Johann Sebastian Bach composed in the early 18th century, with the French Suites dated around 1720–1722 and the Partitas published between 1726 and 1731. They employ Baroque dance-suite structures, elaborate ornamentation and dense counterpoint, exemplifying Bach's mature keyboard writing and playing a key role in the development of the solo harpsichord repertoire.
