Facing Left is the debut studio album by American jazz pianist Jason Moran, released in 2000. The album is rooted in modern jazz and draws on blues and stride while using contemporary improvisation, with lyrical piano lines, angular harmonies, unexpected textures and shifting rhythms, and it has an approach that points towards Moran's later work in which he expands on jazz tradition and experimental sounds.
