The Orchestrion Project is a live album by American guitarist Pat Metheny, released in 2013. The recording documents Metheny's live deployment of automated acoustic and electronic instruments—an extension of his explorations with orchestrion technology—and presents contemporary jazz compositions arranged around mechanical orchestration, dense textural layering and open improvisation, serving as a live continuation of that experimental phase in his career.
