Standing on the Shore is an EP by Australian electronic music duo Empire of the Sun, released in 2008. It presents synth-driven electronic pop characterised by layered synthesiser textures, shimmering vocals and a blend of retro and contemporary production, and is part of the material from the period of their debut album that helped define the duo's early synth-pop aesthetic.
