Symphony No. 4 in E minor, Op. 98 is the fourth symphony by Johannes Brahms, completed in 1885. The work synthesises Brahms's mature orchestral language, combining a traditional four-movement structure with dense contrapuntal textures and a finale modelled on the Baroque passacaglia, serving as the culminating orchestral statement of his later career.
