Symphony No. 9 in E minor, Op. 95 (From the New World) is the ninth symphony by Czech composer Antonín Dvořák, composed in 1893 during his time in the United States. Blending Czech melodic sensibilities with elements drawn from American spirituals and indigenous music, the symphony features expansive, lyrical themes, lush orchestration and dramatic contrasts, and occupies a prominent place in Dvořák's late orchestral output as an example of transatlantic musical exchange.
