Romeo and Juliet: The Three Ballet Suites is a set of orchestral suites by Sergei Prokofiev, arranged from his 1935-36 ballet Romeo and Juliet. The suites distil the ballet's dramatic arc into concert-friendly movements, characterised by Prokofiev's blend of late-Romantic lyricism and modern rhythmic drive, colourful orchestration and recurring thematic material that situate the work as a central piece of 20th-century ballet and orchestral repertoire.
