Symphonie No. 3 In D Minor
Album by Anton Bruckner & Orchestre de la Suisse Romande & Marek Janowski
Symphony No. 3 in D minor is the third symphony by Austrian composer Anton Bruckner, completed in 1873. The work is a large-scale late-Romantic orchestral symphony that shows Wagnerian influence in its harmonic language, employs expansive orchestral forces, dense textures and monumental structures, and occupies an important position as an early, formative step toward the more fully realised symphonies Bruckner composed later in his career.
