River: The Joni Letters is a studio album by American jazz pianist Herbie Hancock, released in 2007. The album presents jazz interpretations of songs by Canadian singer-songwriter Joni Mitchell, combining piano-led improvisation with sparse acoustic arrangements and guest vocal performances, and represents a late-career project in which Hancock explored song-based repertoire alongside his established instrumental work.
