In the Heart of the Moon is a studio album by Malian guitarist Ali Farka Touré, released in 2005. The record pairs blues-inflected, fingerpicked acoustic guitar with West African modal melodies and kora textures, drawing on traditional Malian song forms and continuing the artist's exploration of links between Sahelian guitar traditions and American blues.
