Eine kleine Nachtmusik and the 'Posthorn' Serenade are serenades by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, composed in 1787 and 1779 respectively. They are classical-era serenades for strings and small orchestra with clear melodies and balanced forms, and they come from different phases of Mozart's career, one from his mature Vienna period and the other from his earlier Salzburg years.
