Lovedrive (1979), Blackout (1982) and Love at First Sting (1984) are studio albums by German rock band Scorpions. Musically they chart the band's progression through melodic hard rock and heavy metal, emphasising guitar-driven arrangements, prominent riffs and increasingly polished production, and collectively represent a period in which Scorpions expanded their international audience.
