New Concepts of Artistry in Rhythm
Album by Stan Kenton
New Concepts of Artistry in Rhythm is a studio album by American jazz bandleader Stan Kenton, released in 1953. It combines progressive big-band arrangements, extended harmonies, dense brass voicings and orchestral colour drawn from modern classical techniques, and it comes during Kenton's shift toward more arranged and experimental textures in his post-war work.
