String Quartets

Album by Claude Debussy & Maurice Ravel & Bartók Quartet

String Quartet in G minor, Op. 10 is a string quartet by French composer Claude Debussy, composed in 1893. The work draws on late-Romantic harmonic language while introducing chromaticism, modal inflections and innovative textures associated with musical Impressionism, and it occupies a pivotal place early in Debussy's career as one of his first major chamber works.
