Mama Too Tight
Album by Archie Shepp
Mama Too Tight is a 1967 studio album by American saxophonist Archie Shepp. The music is rooted in free jazz and avant-garde approaches with strong blues influences, raw saxophone-led ensembles and occasional vocalised passages, and it follows Shepp's mid-1960s move toward more political and Afrocentric themes in his work.
