Rhapsodies Hongroises

Album by Franz Liszt & Liszt Ferenc Kamarazenekar & János Rolla

Rhapsodies Hongroises is a set of piano rhapsodies by Franz Liszt, composed between 1846 and 1853. The works draw on Hungarian folk melodies and dance rhythms presented through virtuosic Romantic pianism, and they occupy a significant place in Liszt's output as prominent examples of 19th-century nationalist tendencies in instrumental music.
