In the Dutch Mountains is a studio album by Dutch band Nits, released in 1987. The album is rooted in art-pop and chamber pop, with acoustic instruments, synthesiser textures, layered arrangements and a restrained pastoral tone, and it was a move toward more melodic, reflective songwriting in the band's 1980s output.
