Passio
Album by Arvo Pärt
Passio is a choral composition by Estonian composer Arvo Pärt, completed in 1982. The work exemplifies Pärt's tintinnabuli technique, featuring austerely spaced, modal harmonies and chant-like vocal lines that set a sacred text, and it represents a decisive turn into a spare, contemplative style that became central to his late-20th-century output.

First released: March 2003
