Preussische Quartete KV 575 & KV 590

Album by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart & Quatuor Mosaïques

Preussische Quartete KV 575 & KV 590 is a release of two string quartets by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, composed in 1789. Musically, the works belong to the Classical chamber tradition with transparent textures and a greater role for the cello, and they come from the late phase of Mozart's chamber output when he wrote quartets for a royal amateur cellist.
