Eventyr is a 1981 ECM Records album by Norwegian saxophonist Jan Garbarek with John Abercrombie and Naná Vasconcelos. The recording combines jazz improvisation with Scandinavian folk elements and Afro-Brazilian percussion, and its title translates as ‘fairy tale’ or ‘adventure’ in Norwegian.
