Symphony no. 9
Album by Ludwig van Beethoven & Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen & Paavo Järvi
Symphony No. 9 is the ninth symphony by German composer Ludwig van Beethoven, completed and premiered in 1824. A late-period work, it broadened the symphonic form by incorporating vocal forces into the final movement and by employing expanded orchestration and Romantic-era harmonic and structural elements that influenced the subsequent development of the symphony.
