Musically it expands his baroque pop and singer-songwriter foundations into a widescreen, orchestral and theatrical soundscape characterised by piano-centred arrangements, dense vocal harmonies and dramatic, narrative-driven lyrics, marking a continuation and broadening of his work at that stage of his career.
